Where are lessons held?
Lessons are held online or at my home in Blk 10A, Boon Tiong Road, S(160010), within walking distance of Tiong Bahru and Havelock MRT stations.
What levels and subjects do you teach?
Primary Mathematics, Secondary Mathematics, O-Level Elementary Mathematics, and O-Level Additional Mathematics — both in-person and online.
How do I know if my child needs a fresh start or just extra practice?
Every new student starts with a short assessment so I can see exactly where the gaps are before we begin. This shapes their personalised learning plan from lesson one.
What if my child is shy or has struggled with confidence in Maths before?
This is actually who I work best with. The first few lessons focus on rebuilding comfort with the subject — no pressure, no judgement — before we move into harder material.
My child is already doing okay — can you still help?
Absolutely. Lessons are shaped around where your child currently stands, not a one-size-fits-all syllabus. For students who are struggling, I focus on closing gaps and rebuilding fundamentals. For students who are already comfortable with the material, I push further — sharpening exam technique, tackling higher-order questions, and working towards a distinction. Wherever your child is starting from, the goal is the same: real improvement from their current level.
How often should my child attend lessons?
Most students attend once or twice a week. I'll recommend a frequency based on their current level and how close they are to a major exam.
Do you provide materials, or does my child need to buy assessment books? All worksheets and practice materials are provided by me and included in the lesson fee.
What is the payment schedule for tuition fees?
Fees are payable at the start of each month, covering that month's lessons (typically 4 or 5 sessions, depending on how many lesson days fall in the month). Fees are non-refundable. If a lesson is missed, a make-up session should be arranged within two weeks; if that isn't possible, the fee for the missed lesson will be carried forward and offset against the next month's payment.
Do you have lessons during public holidays or school holidays?
Yes — lessons continue as usual from January to October, including through school holidays and most public holidays
What is your cancellation / make-up lesson policy?
Last-minute cancellations are discouraged unless there's a valid reason, as consistency is key to steady progress. Make-up lesson should be scheduled within two weeks of the missed class, so your child's learning momentum isn't disrupted.
How do I book a trial class?
Use the "Book a Trial Class" button, or "WhatsApp me" button . I'll get back to you within 24 hours.
